letters to ___

đź‘‹ intro

hello.

however way you got here (fate, destiny, or my linktree), you’ve found my little digital nook. make yourself comfortable if you’ve decided to stay for a while, for I rarely write briefly T-T. regardless of medium (paper/pen, texting, audio messages), i am notorious for spamming.

i also find it ironic that ask you to make yourself comfortable here, when i myself feel weird writing letters like these, without knowing exactly who will be reading them. it’s one thing to write for yourself, and another thing to write knowing someone will read what you have written. there’s always a vulnerability to it, like stepping on stage under a bright spotlight, in front of a crowd of unknown faces. will they relate? will they judge? or will they simply gloss over my words and move on with their day?

but anyways, enough with the serious. it’s extremely hard to stay serious while your brother spews out vocal stims, shameless self-plugs, and nonsense beside you. besides, those who know me are well aware of how unserious i can be, so don’t be alarmed by the initial formality of my tone. there’s always a warm up period to knowing someone, even for extroverts like myself.

getting back to the intro, i’ll bullet point what you need to know:

🤔 What: This is my first attempt at running a small blog, which will address my thoughts on everything under (and beyond) the sun—but particularly that of God, life, love, relationships, and interesting psychological/philosophical phenomena.

✨Fun fact: the blank in my blog title references whom I am writing to: I could be writing to you, to God, a specific crowd, or even to myself.

❓ Why: This blog’s main purpose is to share my meditations after reading Scripture (Christian girlie spotted) but it also has something I’ve always wanted to do.

I think this is enough for now. My eyes are getting tired, and despite my injury (achilles heel rupture while playing badminton, if you don’t know), it’s high time for me to touch grass (as some of you should be doing, unless it’s a matter of life and death). I’ll be logging off, but let’s see what the rest of this writing journey will bring :)
