🌷 Happy Easter!
I think that it’s poetic that Easter takes place in the spring. As we see the golden sun, the spring showers, the flowers seeming to wave “hello,” the birds greeting each other a pleasant day, Nature wakes up with the vibrance of her youth to start a new cycle of life. It’s a season of renewal, and of hope. A reminder that despite what was before, there’s always another chance to start again.
I guess I don’t want to write too long, as the bombardment of these past few posts have taxed me T-T. Who new writing an essay every day would be mentally taxxing (especially given that mental activity is the only kind of activity I can fully do)? So I’ll just conclude this Holy Week series with a prayer over all reading:
I pray that just as Christ has risen, quite literally as a new Person, so may you walk out of Lent into Easter renewed with Him. I also pray that we all continue to hold to this newness, not slipping back into old, bad habits of the old self, but that you continue to grow in love, wisdom, and faith. I breathe courage over you, that you may have the strength to pick yourself up, even if you fall down, and to continue writing that story—your story—and allow God to write it with you.
Last of all, I just wanted to remind you that you are very much loved, even if you don’t feel deserving. In our most unlovable moments, there is One Who loves us, not because we deserve it, but because we need it (Father Mike Schmidt so peak 🙏🙏🙏). Walk in that love, cherish it. Try not to be discouraged or chase mirages of false fulfillment. And may that love and joy pervading this season reach you and your loved ones, and stay with you, always.
Happy Easter, little lights! Love you all ☺️💕✨🙏
